The Karlson Reunion started with t-shirt painting for the kids. Gracie insisted on a flower, princess crown, and heart on her shirt, while Coda went for the Batman logo (which ended up being just a giant black blob, but he had fun!)

After the t-shirts we headed over to the next station which was fruit loop necklaces/bracelets/just-eat-fruit-loops.
Then we had face painting. Gracie wanted a giant butterfly on her face, and had I not been the one doing it I probably would have objected to so much paint. But she and I had a lot of fun doing it, and scrubbing later wasn't too bad either.
Coda opted for a snake done by the wonderful and amazing Devrie. (He won those sporty glasses at the fishpond.)
Clockwise at 12:00. Coda, Cooper, Garrett, Brody, Gracie, Keegan.
That night they opened "Grandpa's Store" where everyone had paper bucks with Grandpa's picture on it. Grandpa was selling everything from pixie sticks to DVD's. Gracie got this marshmallow lollipop. It made me gag watching her eat it, but she loved every last gooey bite!

And yes, Justin even got in on the action.

In the end, Coda lost to his little sister, along with everyone else. Uncle Rich picked out a special trophy for her, soft blue monkey (which we have carted all over the place) that she loves!

Justin was so excited to golf this year, he even brought his own clubs all the way from Dallas. Although his team finished last, he had a great time. Here is JoDell, Grandpa Karlson, Keith, Brutch, and my handsome husband Justin.
Thank you everyone who put out the money, time and effort to make our reunion a great one!

In the last fourteen days, I have slept on a regular mattress five days. The other nine were spent on a couch and air mattress, surprisingly, my back still feels good! This was the last morning we'd spend in a tent on this vacation. I'll keep my fingers crossed its mattresses from here on out!
I was so grateful that Justin came up to see us during our vacation. It was a little piece of home away from home. He was only with us a few days, but we tried to soak up every second with Daddy we could. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. There is nothing I love more than watching him play with his kids, it melts my heart. He is so selfless and always thinking of others. He spent his last day doing yard work for his grandparents, which was much appreciated.

I love you so much and will see you again soon!
