Vacation: At the Mennear's House

Terrible these are all the pictures I have! And one doesn't even have people in them!

Monday morning my mom, sister and I got up for a quick trip to town. We decided to go get pedicures at the Paul Mitchell school. My first experience doing this and I really liked someone touching my feet. I had a girl named Karla, but to me she will always be Krazy Karla, the walking-talking Wikipedia. My feet look great, but I didn't expect her to educate me on so many different things. For instance, did you know that your feet are the waste deposits of your body, the majority of your bodies toxins gather there. So, after a foot massage you need to drink 8 glass of water each day for a few days so your toxins can be released threw your urine, yes she said urine. Also, when people say you need to drink 8 glasses of water it's not true. You should take your weight and devide it by 16. That will tell you how many 8 oz glass of water you should be drinking. This is only some of the "fabulous" (she said this would 100 times) information Krazy Karla shared with me while she was doing my pedicure, where (she informed me) is the same place she did a lady who had a fungus! I mean, there are just a few things you shouldn't tell someone while they are getting a pedicure!!!

After my toes were pretty and hopefully fungi-free, we went out for lunch, did a little shopping, snagged some groceries, and picked up Grandma B before heading home.

As soon as I got there I loaded up the kids and we headed back the same direction to make it to my sister in-law's softball game. We haven't seen her in 6 months and she looks great! She's lost 30 pounds and looks awesome! It was fun to go to the game. Then the kids couldn't resists Grandpa's offer for Farr's ice cream. One playdough and one birthday cake, and don't forget my pralines and cream. Thanks Kevin!

We slept in the following day, considering even the kids were up until midnight visiting. I didn't mind claiming it as a lazy day. The kids did a little bit of playing in the water while Stace and I ran some errands. That's when we saw this huge tree blown over onto a house just down the street from us! Yep, for about 3 minutes I thought I was back in Texas, wind and slanted rain! Ann believes we had a mini tornado on her street, I think she is crazy ;-)!
