Well, I never thought that I would be one of "those" wives. You know those wives that can't keep track of anything that means something. Those wives that take little "trinkets" for granted until they are gone! So, here I am, one of "those" wives, all cried out...and still, no sign of my precious wedding ring. Six years next month, it has been in my possession, and then this week....it decided to grow legs and run away from me!
In all honesty, I am very torn up about it, cried all morning while I frantically tore up the apartment. I don't wear my ring all the time down here, because it is so hot that my fingers swell and then my ring hurts my finger. I normally wear it when I leave the apartment, and seeing that I haven't left the apartment all week, I haven't worn it. This morning I went straight to my jewelry box to put it on, and no ring. So, then I headed to the second spot I usually put it, the kitchen counter, no ring. Then I went to the third spot, the bathroom counter, no ring. I always leave it in one of these three places. I tried to trace my steps...and then I remember asking Justin to place them in the jewelry box, because I was too lazy to get up myself. He did. But, have I worn the ring since then? Did the kids happen to snoop in my room and play with my precious gem? Did Justin make it back to the jewelry box without being distracted? Did it really grow legs and run away? So many unanswered questions.
Please, if you have any idea how to draw out a missing ring, please let me know. In the mean time, pray that I will find my "material thing" (as Justin put it).

oh you poor girl...that is one of my biggest fears!! My ring is ALWAYS SO DIRTY because I never take it off because I am so scared of losing it. I will definitely pray that you find it...guys don't always understand how something so simple as are wedding rings can mean SO MUCH! Good luck!
Ahhh! That is really the worst feeling. Start praying and maybe you will find it soon. BTW, how did Justin's doctor appointment go?
Echo, I have a story for you,I will send it to your email. Cause it is long. This very same thing happened to me awhile back.
I have onechild who always seems to know where lost things are. He has the memory of an elephant and remembers where he has seen said lost items. Take a deep breath and ask your kids.
Echo, did you change your email address? I sent you a email, but it came back to me. Let me know.
I hope you find it! I can't imagine, I would be devastated too! Keep praying!
