Lessons from our Sabbath: Finding Good in Others

This weeks lesson was on Relief Society...and of course the discussion turned to women putting down others and recognizing the faults of other sisters rather than their good. Sister Speed did a wonderful lesson, and while she taught the lesson she nonchalantly said, "we are all just trying". It dawned on me how much meaning this simple phrase can bring into our lives. A little later I raised my hand and thanked Sister Speed for her simplicity. When we are about to lower ourselves into thinking or talking bad about others, we now have a phrase that can put it all into perspective...

"We are all just trying."
