Okay, so today is Thanksgiving and I am posting pictures about Halloween. So, I'm a little behind. I'll catch up! This year I let the kids pick out what they wanted, with a little help. Gracie was good with being a cat, until Dad told her she should be Rapunzel. I thought, "Really? How am I suppose to make a cheap Rapunzel costume?" So, with a little more push, I convinced to go back to her original idea and then I kindly asked Dad not to give her any more ideas!
Coda's first pick was a police officer, but after I told him he could get a hook, eye patch, sword and hat for the same price a one goofy looking police hat, he decided he wanted to be a pirate....and a handsome one at that!
We bought their costumes a week before Halloween, Gracie had her cat outfit on every day except for the day I made her take it off so I could wash it!
This was really Gracie first time ever going door to door trick or treating. Last year she and I were in Idaho and she went to the ward party, so this was a new experience for her. She was so excited! She even got to the point where she kind of went far ahead of us as if to say, "I got this guys!"
Our neighborhood is crazy during Halloween! And when did people start giving out toys instead of candy? It was so fun, thanks to an awesome pirate and a beautiful kitty!
