Her she is, the sweetest thing. I can't believe that it has been two years since she blessed our life. She is the sweetest, toughest, funniest, clumsiest, little girl I have ever seen, and for that am I so grateful.
We wanted to do something we haven't done here in Dallas, so we decided to hit the Museum of American Railroads. They have the oldest caboose in the nation. The also have these really cool train cars, that had beds and a dining car, too.
It reminded me just of the show White Christmas, Snow..Snow..Snow...Snow...Snow...I want to wash my face, my feet and hands in snow! I love White Christmas.
Coda took this picture of Justin and I all by himself. He was so proud!
And here, the three things I live for.
(Melissa showed me this great website, www.picnik.com , an easy way to edit photos.)
After looking at the trains we decided to drive around. We ran into the Museum of Science and Nature. I had heard alot of good things about this, so we decided it might be worth the money. They had awesome dinosaur fossils, which both kids just loved! They have really been into The Land Before Time.

There was alot of hands on learning for the kids. Here is Gracie digging for fossils...well, sort of.

Isn't this one the greatest!? Coda is helping Gracie milk the cow!
Wait! Has anyone seen my other child? Oh, there he is green shirt, orange hat! Yep, that is him, the one so intrigued by the bubble!

The kids loved this. Justin almost got it all the way down to Coda's waist.

They had tables with air and a cone to blow balls in the air. The kids also had some cool experiences with golf balls, water, lots of different experiments with lights and lazers. I think my favorite was this big green screen. If you stood up to it, when the flash went of, you shadow would stay on the green screen. Simple, but cool. Was it worth the money? mmmm, depends. I am a germaphobe, so I was paranoid the whole time about how many kids had worn that hat or touched the knob. But, now we can say we have been there.
We grabbed the kids a burger and took it to Taco Cabana (my new, favorite, cheap food place). It was actually nice enough that we could eat outside without melting away. Then we headed home.
Birthday cake always goes to waste in our house, but never Birthday Brownies!

Doesn't she look so intent on her wish. I wonder what she wished for.

Looks like you guys had fun!!! The picture of Justin and the kids between the train is AMAZING! I'm glad Gracie had a good birthday, I thought about her all day and how fast time has gone and how much has changed. Hope everything keeps going well. Man, I miss you so much...I'm just gonna call you!
How fun! I'll bet that you are glad that you were pregnant in Idaho during the summer and not Texas, right???
Good job editing the photos. I've always wanted to learn how to do it, but I don't know if I could figure it out!
Echo! who's that mexican in the photos with you?
that sounds like an awesome birthday. i also noticed that your pictures have an extra special oomph today...they look great.
gracie is such a cute girl. are you surprised your kids have blond hair? (or does that come from justin's side?)
And I thought that there was nothing to do in Dallas! I just found out that Nat ewill be there next Feb or Mar for a convention. If all goes well, I will get to go with him! We will have to get together!
