Forever Flipflop

Since we moved to Texas, I have had a permanent flipflop tan line. Today, I made a strong attempted to fade it out. First pool day of the season and not a single picture of the kids, just my feet. What a terrible mother?!

We hadn't planned on going to the pool, but when I told the kids I was going to lay out in the backyard, they flipped when I said swim suit. My kids grew like weeds over the fall and winter, but I didn't expect Gracie to pick multiple wedgies multiple times! Her little bum cheeks were hanging out...so cute. And Coda? There were a couple of girls on the other side of the fence that wouldn't stop calling his name. He puffed up his chest and sprinted over there to talk to them. They're growing up too fast!

So, the fact that it's warm enough for you to even sit by the pool is enough to make all of us up here in the North extremely jealous. Not feeling too bad that you have a flip flop tan line -- we've forgotten what flip flops are!!!

pretty sure that if i wore flip flops outside my house i'd get frostbite. that's also crazy to think, "one day we almost get blown away by tornadoes, the next we're chillin' by the pool".

sure love you guys!
