Easter

The night before Easter we sat the kids down to talk about Christ and his sacrifice for us. We watched the New Testament story online at lds.org. We have found these a great resource when teaching the scriptures.

Easter morning the kids came running into the room. Coda found his easter basket fairly quickly, but Gracie kept missing the basket that hung from a pretty pink bike. Finally, Dad pointed it out to her. Coda enjoyed how spoiled he was by the Easter Bunny. He has been doing pretty good at Indiana Jones Wii.

I thought Dad was getting them breakfast, but when I walked around the corner they were chowing down on the half eaten chocolate bunnies. I am sure their primary teachers were appreciative of the sugar intake.
I made little cupcake Easter baskets for the nursery children. I think they are starting to warm up to me.
On the way to church Justin stopped the car and backed up. I had no idea what he was doing until he opened up the door and we saw this crawdad. I'm pretty sure I dissected one of these guys in high school, but I have never seen a live on before.
