We wanted to make sure that Coda had an extra special birthday this year. I went out on the night before and bought balloons and decorations, and a few presents. I don't think Coda would have remember it was his birthday, except for the fact I kept telling him. I made a cake and left in on the stove but he never noticed it. So then I decided to be a mean mom and tell him that we had forgot his birthday. I also told him we forgot to buy him his presents. Surprizingly, it didn't really even face him. He just said, "we can go to the store." He did, however, request a Spiderman cake.
I thought it turned out okay for my first time decorating. It doesn't matter how ugly the take. With the look on his face, I knew Coda was very pleased.
I couldn't have got a better shot of his excitement!
Coda's response to turning four:
"When 10 years comes, I will be 10!"

I can't believe Coda is four! I remember seeing you in the hospital the day you had him. Time goes by so fast. It looks like he had a very fun birthday.
