The Best Valentine

Over Valentine's weekend, we had some very special visitors. Grandma & Grandpa Mennear, Scott, Stacey & Baby Tayden, JoDell, and Wii! We were very excited to see all of them.

Since Justin and I have moved over here we haven't been able to go out on a date. So, Ann and Kevin gave us the greatest Valentine's ever. A night without the kids! (Joined by Scott and Stacey)

On Sunday, we bundled up to brave the cold so that Coda could show G & G one of our new favorite parks. They don't make parks like this in Pocatello, anyway, not from what I have seen.

They have these really big, fake rocks that the kids can climb. Best of all, they have these rubber like tiles all over the ground, not bark or sand. Coda wanted to show Grandma how he could climb. He insisted on Dad letting him go, and then once he got up he said, "oh man, this is high". I wasn't there, but Justin and Grandma got a kick out of it.

They also have these big instruments. The one that Gracie is playing (below) is my favorite.

We tried to get a pic with G & G, but Gracie wasn't being very cooperative. But I love Grandma's face!

On Monday we decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese.

Call me a cheater, I don't care.

Coda really enjoyed this rocket. Come to think of it, I don't think there was anything Coda didn't really enjoy. Oh, wait, I kind of freaked out when Chuck E. came around, but who wouldn't?

Oh, let's not forget my other kid. I think Dad had a really good time to, except for when I beat him 44 to 18 on a basketball shootout.

We didn't stand a chance when it came to getting a good shot of Coda. He was wearing me out, so I gave Grandpa the assignment of keeping and eye on him.

I know it was a long drive and an expensive trip, but I don't think you guys realize how much it really meant to us. Thank you for making the sacrifice to come and see us. We love you!
