Happy Thanksgiving

This year we decided to stay home and enjoy a small Thanksgiving. We let the kids each pick something they wanted to help make for dinner. Coda helped Dad make the turkey and then he made homemade mac 'n' cheese. Gracie made a chocolate cream pie all by herself. She said the chocolate looked like poop....it did, but it was really good! We spent the morning and early afternoon outside smelling the smoked turkey, enjoying football on the back porch and learning the game of Spike Ball. After dinner, Gracie surprised us with homemade turkeys. We each wrote what we were thankful for on the feathers. She also designed the menu for us! It was all so cute and thoughtful of her. It was a wonderfully relaxed Thanksgiving! So grateful for my many blessings!
