End of School

We have been waiting for this week for MONTHS! Its finally the end of school!

The kids both received awards this year and I couldn't be more proud!

Gracie received the Citizenship Award, "A" Honor Roll Award, Helping Hand Award and the Creativity Award. Afterwards her teacher came and apologized to me. I was confused until she explained herself. She said Gracie is an "all american student. She is always so kind and funny and just the perfect student." She apologized again saying that she didn't know how or what to give her for her awards because there wasn't an award that wrapped all that up. We absolutely loved Mrs. Long!

Coda also received quite a few awards. He received his 3rd Grade Completion Award, the "AB" Honor Roll, and was part of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and "I Survived" Book Clubs, but his favorite was the Future Inventor Award, which was the only one given. The principal said Coda is awesome at coming up with new ideas on how to fix things and make life easier. I think we can attribute this to the thousands of Legos he plays with on a weekly basis.

Both Coda and Gracie really worked hard to have an "A" average for the year. Coda was teetering all year between "A" and "B", but when I pulled out the final grades both of their averages were "A"! Which means they get to invite one friend to Bonkers! They were are sooo excited!

I'm so proud of Coda and Gracie. They did really well with their homework all year long and received lots of praise from their teachers.

Here they are on their last scooter trip as a 1st grader and a 3rd grader!
