What made our October vacation extra special was not only did we get to spend time with the Egan's, but we also got to spend time with the Mennear's. It was great hanging out with this crazy bunch! Coda and Gracie had so much fun dressing up as super hero's with their cousins Tayden and Beckett. I'm pretty sure whenever we set foot in the house, the kids were instantly transformed into Ninja Turtles, Batman, Wolverine, Ninjas, Spider Man or whatever other awesome hero they wanted to be that day. It was great watching how well they all got a long.
Stacey took us to the children's museum which was a blast! Even my oldest kid, Justin, had a good time!
On a chilly night, we ventured down to the Las Vegas Strip. We were anxious to see the Bellagio water show. We got everyone bundled and headed out, unfortunately they cancelled the show because of wind conditions, but that didn't stop the Mennear's from having fun! We enjoyed skipping and playing tag as we made our way back into the hotel and absolutely loved the fall display they had.
I forgot to mention that the week before we left Justin went out of town to work, so the kids and I didn't get to see him. We were able to spend one afternoon together before the kids and I boarded the plane without him to start the vacation. So, when he finally did catch up to us I was so excited to have my best friend and companion back. I love him!
It had been a good eight months since we had seen family. I'm so glad we decided to come for a visit!
