Bethlehem Revisited

For three Christmas' I've been wanting to go to Bethlehem Revisited out in Waxahachie. This year, we finally did it! It was awesome. They set up a whole city block and recreate Bethlehem with merchants, and iron workers, the inn, stable and King Harod. Then they have a hundred plus people who stay in character the whole time! They tell you about the different things they're making (just like they did it in Jesus's day). Then you can follow the Mary and Joseph, the shepherds or the three kings through town to the stable. The kids got to pet the animals and we tried bread! It was just awesome! We didn't get very good pictures, but it is something I will remember.
