I just got back from dropping the kids off. Coda walked in without a second look at his mother. And Gracie seemed to know exactly what to do! She gave me a high five and a kiss!
Throughout the year, I hope Gracie can learn to be independent and strong. She can be so timid and shy. As for Coda, I hope we can come away without him elbowing or hitting another student! But most of all for him to become a strong leader, not a pushy bossy one, but someone kids look up to because of their kindness.
Good luck my beautiful, amazing, humorous, life-loving children!

They are so cute Echo! So glad that their first day went well!
They are gorgeous kids!! I can't believe your Grace is already big enough for school.
I kind of giggled when you put that you hoped Coda wouldn't hit another kid. We were out to my parents the other day and my dad told us the story of little Echo Egan starting as the Varsity point guard her freshman year and one of the girls on the other team that wouldn't leave you alone and how you finally just socked it to her! :) He said it got you kicked out of the game! Ha, ha!! I am SURE she deserved it! Sounds like Coda got a little of his mommy's fire in him! LOVE IT!!
