I forgot to mention, that Coda spent days speeding down a snowy mountain head first, but it wasn't until we had spent only five minutes at Grandma Mennear's house that he decided to run into a corner wall and crack his head open. I heard him hit and expected him to be in tears when I ran over to him, but nothing. He was just holding his head. He started breathing through the pain, when I told him how tough he was. Then I pulled his hand away from his head, "Ahh, your bleeding!" But the little guy didn't even whimper, just kept breathing through it.
We took him over to a friend of the family's, he took one look at him and said, "Yep three tiny stitches", it was then that Coda decided to flip out! Justin and I took him over to one of those urgent care places. Coda continued to fight us about stitches, I swear every time I got him calmed down, just had to say the "S" word! When the doctor finally came in, he decided only to glue it shut.
Coda was very relieved to hear he didn't need stitches.
