Our Move

Well, right after Christmas we decided to pack and move to Meridian, (near Boise). My brother was planning on getting us a trailer and helping us move, but two days before Christmas he decided it would be a good idea to tear is ACL. And seeing that our apartment is on the third floor, we didn't think he would be much use. So, we went to Plan B, which was to borrow a horse trailer. Well, it wasn't the cleanest of trailers, but we figured it would do the job. In Pocatello it was still freezing, so you couldn't smell the horse poop, but we didn't really take into account the temperature change from Pocatello to Meridian. Inspite of the good weather, some of our things still got a little wet, mix that with the stinky horse poop smell and you got some really nasty smelling stuff. Nothing too important just our box with our scriptures and our mattress! But what do you do but let things air dry and spray a little Lysol on it, right?

So why did we quit our jobs, sell our house and move? All for this...

Looks like fun, right? Justin is currently going to Northwest Lineman College. The first day we spent almost two hours tieing knots. The third day he became first aid and CPR certified. And today, the fourth day, he is already starting to climb poles. Am I nervous? You bet! He promised me he would be safe, and I promised him I was going to double his life insurance! In all honesty, I think he will do a great job. Fourteen more weeks left.

Echo, I'm happy to hear that you guys are moved and in school. How's the area and the ward? Your kids look so big.
