Boys think they're invincible, so it was no surprise that Justin and Coda built a very steep bike ramp. It was so tall I was considering making the neighbor kids sign waivers before jumping off it. Coda decided to borrow a neighbor kid's bike, but he didn't quite get over the ramp and came into the house screaming. The way he reacted made us think he for sure broke it. After xrays it was determined it was just a bad bruise, but as punishment for his recklessness we made Coda stay in the above elbow soft cast the hospital placed on him. After about five days he begged us to let him take it off before he went to stay the night with a friend, so we did. The next morning we got a call saying he fell racing his friend at the tennis courts. So he went back in for another xray and this time it legit. He had a buckle fracture near the wrist and would spend the next six weeks in a cast.
