This beauty attended her first dance tonight. She was so excited to go shopping for a new outfit. She just happened to be wearing her converse when she was trying on her dress. She said "I think I'll where these shoes with it", (which I love!) I carefully explained how I want her to be herself and to not be "normal" like everyone else, but I warned her that sometimes being yourself is hard. I told her I loved the shoes, but to be prepared for what people might say. "Get thick skin and remember to love yourself when people talk". She shook her head and said "I'm going to wear the converse." LOVE HER!
