The kid's stayed busy this weekend at the Burnside Reunion. Aunt Di and Uncle Larry had so many fun things to do. A huge swing that went at least 15-20 feet in the air, a zip line, sand box, a makeshift water slide and so much more. They both won soda's in the ring toss and Coda loved chasing the greased pig!
Sixteen shirts, five pairs of pants, twelve pairs of shorts, two swimsuits, thirteen pairs of socks, and eight pairs of shoes later, we are finally home and dry.
I don't think we had a dry minute the entire weekend. It didn't help that Saturday it rained ALL day. But, that doesn't get us down, we still played Bingo in the rain! It also didn't help that in the middle of the night I realized that all the kids' shoes were out side...in the rain. (It's never any fun fumbling around in the middle of the night in the rain looking for shoes.) Or that Coda decided his only dry sweatshirt need to be washed, which he did in the creek.
Although rainy and muddy all weekend, we had a great time!
