AUGUST
- Bought a house, (although I could give you the names of a real estate agent and a loan officer that I definitely wouldn't recommend. Yes, it was bad enough that the loan officer eventually got fired, but on the upside....WE FINALLY GOT A HOUSE!)
- Sent my little boy of to his first year of school.
- Celebrated my daughter's third birthday.
SEPTEMBER
- Spent two weeks painting the foreclosed home we just purchased. Yep, every nook and cranny except our room.
- Moved in.
- Met some neighbors.
OCTOBER
- Enjoyed an expensive Halloween Carnival with my favorite Iron Man and "Mean" Witch. (Gracie made it clear that she was a mean witch, not a nice one.)
- Purchased a plane ticket and flew back to Idaho with in 24 hours.
- Spent two weeks away from my husband and little boy, (but I think some good male bonding was done)
- Realised the importance of family and of the plan of eternal happiness, when my family was through into an emotional whirlwind.
- Missed Halloween with both my kids, (but at least I got to spend time at the carnival with them.)
NOVEMBER
- Came home to a very clean house, (thanks husband).
- Tried to get back in the groove of motherhood.
- Enjoyed a great turkey, (I didn't burn it this year).
- Ventured out to Target at 3 a.m. BY MYSELF! It was great.
- Decked the Halls, or walls, with my family.
- Listened to Kenny and Dolly's Christmas album.
- Was called into the primary as a senior music director (mmmm...I am still struggling) and as activity days leader.
DECEMBER
- Trying to get into the Christmas Spirit, (it's hard with no snow and no family around).
- Read The Hunger Games trilogy, which I loved.
- Watched my handsome husband teach my little boy how to ride his bike, (as soon as I figure out how to upload from my iphone I will post it.)
- Celebrated our seventh, that's right...SEVENTH anniversary.
- Tried to teach my kids Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, but Coda insist on saying "Rudolph the Red Reined Nosedeer". Again, when I can figure out how to upload, I will show you this hilarious video!
- Realized that the Christmas movies weren't exaggerating Christmas shopping as my little family battle the busiest mall in Dallas on a Saturday. CRAZY GIFT GIVERS! But at least we got to see the Ronald McDonald House Trains.
I didn't get Christmas cards out this year, so
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
(and I will post more frequently *fingers crossed)

for some reason i'm feeling extra christmassy this year. i'll try to send some christmas spirit vibes your way.
Echo....I was so glad to see you were back into the swing of things. I have been so worried about the little Egan family lately. My heart hurts for your family right now. I truly love you sweet mother. She put her arm around me and got me through High School - as the YW pres, volleyball coach and boyfriends mother. She has made a HUGE impact on my life. My prayers are with her and your families. Merry Christmas to you too!
