So, during breakfast yesterday Coda looks at me and says, "Mom, I don't want to get old, because I don't want to have spots like you." I thought to myself, oh the word "spot" sounds so much better than the word "pimple". Yes, my face has taken a turn for the worse since we came to Texas. Coda then said, "Mom, when you were little like me, did you want to have spots?" Hmmm, not exactly but some of us can't help it. So, I explained to Coda that Heavenly Father loves us no matter what we look like, and we should just be grateful that we have a body. Later, I decided to get ready and when I came out, make-up and all, Coda said, "Mom you look beautiful!" That melted my heart.
For some reason, today, that little boy decided to pick up where he left off. He went to Justin and said, "Dad I don't want to get big because I don't want to have spots." Justin and I just smiled at one another.
Moral of the story: Spots or no spots, Heavenly Father loves us all!

Too cute! Well, I am sure he will have fun looking at ALL my spots! See you next week!!!!
So funny, but heart breaking at the same time. Miss you!
i'm so glad i'm not the only one that still deals with "SPOTS". i've been attacked...i'm even taking an antibiotic...my girls call it my zit-pills.
good luck with your "spots". I had a really bad breakout last summer. It was awful. I think a lot of mine was diet though. as soon as i changed some things it got better. I wish we knew causes for things like that. I know stress is probably a factor too. Good lesson though:)
Burton likes to count my spots. It's a good thing he can't count that high. He tried to count my sister's too, she didn't like that very much.
