Christmas was really different for us this year. Justin was on call which meant we had to stay here in Texas rather than in Idaho with our family. Christmas Eve we took the kids to go see Alvin and the Chipmonks Squequel. It was really cute and the kids loved having popcorn and slushes at the movies (yes, we splerged).
After the movie we came home and had pizza, and shortly after Justin was called out. I think he was gone most the night. Infact Santa and I had to take care of things by ourself. Justin worked about alot of hours 16 or 18. He came home around 11:30 Christmas morning. The kids were really understanding about waiting for Dad before opening presents. They played with their wooden train set that Santa brought all morning long.
Coda had lots of great stuff, but I think his favorites were the remote control car from Grandma Egan, the build a tent from Grandma Karlson, and his Dinosaurs from his Dad.
Gracie had her favorites too. Grandma Egans pony, the build a tent from Grandma Mennear and her baby and stroller from Coda and Dad.
(I guess I didn't do to good of shopping, oh that's right I buy the boring necessities like pants and clothes. No wonder the kids don't like them! Oh well.)
My inlaws were great and got me a sewing machine. I have no idea how to work it but I have been wanting one for a while now. And my parents helped us with plane tickets to get to Arizona. (don't worry, I will get that posted too!)

This Build a Tent was alot bigger than I expected. But it saves me from getting the blankets and folding table and chairs out!
