- Dallas World Aquarium, worth the money
- Fort Worth Zoo, worth the money (especially on half priced Wednesdays)
- Disney Pixar's "Up" 3-D, not worth paying extra for 3-D, however a very cute show
- Raddison's Hotel in Alburqurque, NM Priceline $50, definitely not worth the money
- Courtyard Marriot in Mesquite, TX Priceline $50, definitely worth the money, by far!
- At least $800 for rent in Mesquite, TX to get an apartment without scary, creepy bugs or scary, creepy people
- Living in a hotel is not as much fun as you would hope it to be
- Many ways to feed my family for less than $6: six jr. bacon cheeseburgers or $5 foot long or six cup o' noodles or pb&j or a package of string cheese with a side of go-gurt (trust me, it can be done)
- Not all Wal-Mart's are the same (some are really scary)
- People can only live on microwaveable food for so long
- A double bed is not big enough for all four of us, however the king size bed we had a few days ago fit us all comfortably
- Texas gets their money by charging big bucks for out of staters to register the vehicles $175 per vehicle!
The the two best things I have learned in the last two weeks:
- How incredibly blessed we are to have family as wonderful as ours
- That right now Justin and I are looking at a very lonely piece of puzzle. And no matter how frustrating and weighing it might be, we need to remember it is someone else's hand that is placing our pieces together and He sees the finished product. He loves us and He knows our hearts better than we do. Our situation is only temporary and is just a small piece to a very large puzzle. (Thanks Ann and Kevin for your insight.)

Hotel living is definitly not as fun as one might think. We travel to portland every few months for Jimmy to train for his job and we stay in hotels for about two weeks. Not fun with two little ones. When we registered our vehicles in MT is cost us $250 per vehicle. CRAZY. We just bought a new truck in March and that was our third time to register. How hope you find an apartment soon.
I am so smiling right now! Perspective is very important and hopefully soon your family will have friends and assignments at church etc. Good luck and I'm sure you're going to love it!
I look up to you so much. I know what you guys are going through is hard, yet you find lessons to learn and keep a positive attitude. More than once these 2 weeks I have said, "Echo is a better person than me!" And hey, we get to come see you guys in 4 short weeks! I can not wait! Thanks for your example. Love you guys!
We love you guys! Way to put everything into perspective. July 8th won't get here soon enough, but on the other hand ... July 15th will come waaaayyyy too soon!
Wow. I don't really know what to say. You guys are so amazing. I sure love you!
Echo you have such a positive attitude about everything. I hear you on the Wal-mart thing, Utah ones are definitely a step up from the California ones.
Echo we miss you so much and it looks like the kids had so much fun at the Aquarium. I have always told Rich that I hate the first 2 months of moving all the extra bills and registrations. Funny we haven't gottin our Washington drivers license yet. $80 dollars waiting till mine expires. Love you!!
Texas is SO FAR away...but atleast it is a job - right! We always have to take the bad with the good. I sure love reading your blog. You and your little family are so stinking cute. Good luck down there...atleast it is warm unlike Idaho!
