The Lone Star State

Well, for those of you who don't know yet, Justin and I are in Texas. He took a job here with Oncor. We are in Mesquite, Texas which is a suburb of Dallas. In fact, I never even noticed a seperation between the two.
...
On Friday, our little family traveled to Pleasant Grove, Utah. We stayed there one night and visited with G & G Karlson. The next morning we woke up at 3 a.m. and traveled all the way to Alburqurque, New Mexico. The kids did really well, considering they were in the car for almost 10 hours straight. On Sunday, we woke up at 4 a.m. and traveled all the way to Dallas. Again, the kids did great. A total of 20 hours drive time, (doesn't count for all the stops we made).
...
So, here we are in Mesquite, Texas. Luckily, with the help of Priceline, we got a great hotel for only $50 a night. So, life isn't all that bad. Except for we are having a hard time deciding on an apartment. Tomorrow is a new day and we are hoping to find something that will suit our needs.
On Wednesday, my wonderful and supportive parents are driving all the way to bring us a trailer full of our stuff. We are so greatful for them and for Justin's parents. If it wasn't for our wonderful families, I don't know where we would be if it wasn't for all there prayers, love and support.
...
Thank you everyone, for everything! Wish us luck in Texas!

WOW! My sister Robyn lived in Texas, I think in Dallas. I will call her this morning to ask her for good areas to live just in case.
