A New Beginning

Well, things are going to change for us...and I think it is going to come sooner then we think. Justin applied a couple months ago to Northwest Lineman College in Boise. We figure he isn't going anywhere with his current job, so we might as well find something that is going to carry us through to retirement. I have contacted numerous people and they all say the same thing, "You'll be luck to get a entry-level job in the same state let alone in the same town." So, we have done a lot of praying and have decided to put our house of for sale. I can't believe it, we are just getting comfortable and this year would be the first that we could actually afford to do things to the house.

So, what do you do when you are scared poop-less about change? Just what my father said, "get on the back seat and peddle." He told me that life is like a two seated bike. Sometimes you are on the front steering, and sometimes you just have to hop on the back seat and peddle. The Lord will steer you in the right direction if you are doing those things you are suppose to.

So, if anyone has any advice about this new journey we are about to embark on...please let me know.

What is going back to school to do? and what does he do now? Sorry..I don't know anything!!! Whatever it is...Good luck! It will probably be a long road, but it will all be worth it in the end. (Thats what I keep telling myself anyway;)

It is a lineman college. He will learn how to work on power lines. The school is 15 weeks, which isn't too long, (compared to how long are you guys over there?) Anyway, I am still nervous, so I appreciate the encouragement. By the way, I saw how much fun you guys had on your little camping trip. I am glad you are getting along great so far away. And your girls are beautiful!

You will be great!! I bet it makes you nervous though with the house for sale, but 15 months really isn't that long at all. (Yeah...we have been here forever!!! We have 9 more months here and then we will find out in January where we will be for residency...the next FOUR YEARS) But we have loved it here. It is great having the church because wherever you go you really do have instant family and friends.

Oh thanks for your encouragement. I just keep thinking this will be more beneficial for our family if we do it. We might as well do it now then 5 years down the road. How are you feeling by the way?

Your kids are so cute. It's so cool to see your face in their's. Good luck in the move and going back to school. We've been students forever it seems. We always say the sacrifice now will pay off later.

I'm glad we can kind of go through this together! It's good to know we're not the only ones scared "poopless"! Good luck!
